Product Description

Iron Plus contains Iron Bisglycinate, a non-constipating, well-absorbed form of iron. Iron is an essential mineral for healthy red blood cell formation. C, Beta Carotene and Astaxanthin are added for enhanced absorbtion.*

Directions

Apply patch daily to an area with little or no hair, i.e., shoulder, back or hip. For best results, it is recommended to wear PatchMD patches for 8 hours. There is no additional benefit wearing the patch longer than 8 hours. Patches can be worn during sleep. Avoid using any lotion or cream in the same area as it will inhibit absorption. Patch is not waterproof. It is ok to wear multiple patches at a time.

    I am severely anemic, pills don’t work for me.So i was shocked these worked!I haven’t got my levels retested but i also haven’t needed an iron transfusion. GET THIS.

    Great for maintaining your iron, I’ve noticed a difference in as little as two day. The stool might be black or very dark color thats normal. It sticks well just make sure there is little to no hair before attaching it.

    I love the convenience of these and not having to take a pill, but the actual amount of iron in each patch isn’t very high (only 83%). For that amount then I prefer to take an actual pill with a higher percentage. But if you don’t NEED the extra iron (anemia or menstrual needs) then this is a really nice option for getting more iron!

    Weird options for me to rate – the point of this product is you DON’T have to swallow. Oral iron gives a lot of people upset stomachs and this avoids that issue. Just throw on a patch. My bloodwork showed my iron was low so I switched to these patches and retested 6 weeks later. The patches did the job and my blood tested normal. Now I use other patches for my supplements.

    I have severe digestive issues due to chemo, and extreme anemia due to chemo. So this isn’t the normal person’s reaction to an iron patch. I can’t take the iron tablets, they rip my digestion to heck. I’ve been hospitalized for anemia. The doctors said to eat red meat twice a day. I thought maybe these patches would work so I wouldn’t have to do the red meat thing. But even cut into Thirds (each patch), I get Severe diarrhea. As I say, this is probably not a reaction that most people might get but IF you are going through chemo or if your digestive system, as mine was, has been decimated by chemo DO NOT BUY. They stick on well & do elevate my iron content but not worth the issues.

    I am super anemic and I don’t like taking the iron pills because they hurt my stomach. My doctor told me about these and they help me maintain my iron level. Sometimes I have to use two at a time but it’s still OK.

    I bought these when my doctor told me I needed to take iron everyday because I am deficit. About 6 years ago I had weight loss surgery and knew I would always need to take vitamins from then on out, but they didn’t explain how finicky my stomach would be when it comes to taking oral medicine. Every vitamin I took would come back up.So far these patches are awesome! I have very sensitive skin, and react to almost everything. I’ve worn these for 3 days for 8 hours while working, under long sleeves and no reactions.Will update when I get blood work done again with their ability to make results go up.

    Good adhesion but leaves a small residue when removed. These do not come off until you are ready to remove them- that’s a plus! Absorption is excellent.

    These patches work great!! I slap one on either at night or in the morning, and take it off after 8 hours. My RBC count improved as well as my blood pressure. I have used them for two pregnancies so far, wish I had known about them for the first pregnancy too!!

    If you aren’t quite sure about trying these, TRY THEM. I am bad about taking pills and suffer from anemia. These have made such a difference for me. Well worth the price tag if you prefer to stick on once a day and forget about them. I also like that when I notice it, it’s a reminder for me to change it.

    I’ve seen that some people struggle to use these, but I think they’re expecting them to be thicker than they actually are. If you use your nail, or finger to gently grab the edge of the thin sticky piece and NOT the square that it’s on, they come right up and stick right to the skin. I rotate arms, upper thighs, and occasionally put them on my abdomen. I’ve been severely anemic and being scheduled for an iron infusion. My labs are showing that my iron is slightly beginning to increase since beginning these patches. I was unable to keep iron capsules down. I had horrible abdominal pain & vomiting w/iron capsules, but don’t have any of that w/the patches. I’ve added the multivitamin patch to increase iron and add vitamins to absorb the iron even better, in hopes that I’ll be able to cancel the iron infusion.

    I have a sensitivity to iron which doesn’t help considering I have a iron deficiency. This product has a slow enough release to where I didn’t overload my body to quickly. This gave me the head start I needed to take iron and not get sick from it. Felt better within a week. Won’t go back to taking pill form definitely a must buy!

    Ok, I don’t absorb iron from food or pills. They think it’s a very rare genetic mutation because it runs in my family. I have had iron infusions in the past. When my iron again was getting low I decided to try these, I figured it couldn’t hurt, maybe iron going through my skin I could absorb. Unfortunately no, I have to have infusions. There is just no other way for my body to get the iron it needs. I do think these patches are a great idea!
